My 2025: a year of botany, herbalism & studies amongst other things

I have been thinking about what I want to focus on 2025. Now when I’m quite sure (although I can’t definitely know until February) I will work at a flower shop, I will turn this year into a green year. My philosophical studies will continue but I will have them second to my herbal studies, so ultimately I will study philosophy and psychology the days I don’t work. Mainly I will focus on my herbal studies alongside my work. I will only work 2 days a week, but it’s better than nothing. I’m so done with just sitting at home.

I will also continue with youtube, but much less seriously. I will treat it as a hobby and focus more on getting out in the world instead of just living online.

This is my goals page in Notion:

As you can see, I have no more than 3 goals for each category. And btw, these are more like aims than goals. It’s not the end of the world if I don’t follow through with all of them…

I also have been doing this autism spectrum wheel. Because Autism isn’t a straight horizontal line of non-autistic and autistic. It’s more of a circle. This wheel is an aid for me to see how I function in different areas, which also makes it easier to tell my future boss what I need and how they can make it easier in the environment for me to work with them.

This wheel is from this page.

I have got this job with the help from the social psychiatric services so they are aware that I’m autistic and in need of help/assistance with certain things. Also, it’s more of an activity and rehabilitation than an actual job, because I have been home for so long. I haven’t had anything to focus on since long before covid, I think my latest job was in 2018… So I really need something to do outside of my home.

And I’m really looking forward to dive into herbalism and botany as well! The courses I take are “Master Herbalist Diploma” and “Botany Diploma” on Centre of Excellence and the “Clinical Herbalist” certification on The Herbal Academy International School. I really recommend both of them! I also took a herbal course on Academy of Ancient Magik, which is great for the very beginners, since it’s not as overwhelming as the other two.

Although I’m still a beginner in herbalism… 🙂

What if I told you…

That I have a little motivational video to brighten up your day:

xx
