How to set your vision for 2025

Skip those New Year’s resolutions and set your VISIONS, VALUES and AIMS instead!

I have rarely set resolutions for the new year, because I know, I just KNOW, I will break them. For years I didn’t do anything to improve my life, until one year, 2 years ago now, I created a formula that worked better than New Year’s resolutions.

Instead of hardcore goal-setting, I decided to create “aims” instead, because I started to incorporate a more soft style of productivity. When I realized I couldn’t keep up with the goals, I felt like a failure. So that is why I started to set up what I aim for, instead of what I’m promising myself to do. Because at the end of the day, nobody can promise anyone anything, not even you towards yourself, because we can’t predict anything.

I also started to set visions for my year instead of a big grandiose picture of what I want. Vision boards are a great way to enhance that. But be careful so it not turns to hard and set rules. It should symbolise a vision that you actually can live with!

Another thing I included to my new year planning was values. What are my values for the new year? For me it is self-learning, creativity and kindness. Don’t choose to many, just take the three or four most important.

My vision for 2025 is a year of green magick! I will work with herbalism, green witchery, but also with my general spirituality through witchcraft and such.

My aim for 2025 is to keep up with this blog at least a few times each week.

I want to continue with the personal growth route I have started. I talk about that a lot online. I have learned that I can grow and I want to show other people that it is possible to grow even if you have fallen down a dark path and struggling in what seems like complete darkness. I know what it feels like to have nothing to live for. In that regard, my spirituality saved my life.

I think I’m still battling the darkness, but I also become stronger and stronger the more I battle.

I use the app “Finch” to keep track of my self-care. It’s actually a very good app and it’s free. My self care pet’s name is Ellie!

I’m planning on making a full review of “Finch self care pet” at some point.

Finch is also a great way to set your vision for 2025, even if it’s just simple things.

xx
